Witness interview

Regina D. recalls: "It was about noon. They [Jews] were gathered in the village. Maybe they were taken somewhere else, because there were a truck about ten or twenty meters away. They knew where they were going because they were crying. I went to school with them, with Jewish girls, and we studied together. We went there all together and we got along well. There were Germans in green uniforms with silver badges who gathered them." (Eyewitness N°263, interviewed in Świerszczów, on October 21, 2013)

Polish Archives

"In the summer of 1942, 14 Jews were murdered by Germans. Their bodies were buried in a mass grave near the mill." [Deposition of ZHP-Polish Scoots Association, team of Jaroslaw D.; GK 195/VIII/6, p.25]
