Witnesses interviewed: 3. (N°351, 352, 353). Anastasia G. (N°352): "I was afraid every day for my life. I had to dig anti tank pits. I heard the shots. I covered my ears and I put my son under me so that he couldn’t hear it."

Soviet archives

RG-22.002M/7021-68/178. "In December 1941, the German gendarmery took 140 Jews from Odesa to Buzovarove. There were mostly women and children […] A lot of their hands, feet and faces were frozen. They were dying because nobody was treating them. In the beginning of March, all Jews were taken outside of Buzovarove and were shot."
