Galina V (N°1274): “The Jews were arranged at the edge of the grave. There were some who fell in. They were arranged at the edge and then they fell in the grave alive. They probably thought they could escape after the shooting but the Germans poured gasoline in it and burned them alive. It was terrible to hear the screams.”
