Witness interview

Kiril R. : "During the summer of 1942, 300 Jews from the jewish settlement of Ingulets were killed. They were shot in the village of Lativka. They had to dig their own grave before to be shot". (Witness N°1087, interviewed in December, 2010)

Historical note

Lativka is a small village situated between the cities of Dnipropetrovsk and Krivyi Rih.  The village was under German occupation between 1941 and 1943.

Holocaust by bullets in figures

The Jews of Voykovo and Ingulets were shot in the village of Lativka after having dug their own pit at the edge of a river. There were hundreds of victims.
