Maria Stepanovna G.: "When the Germans came, my parents hid [this Jewish family] in a hole serving to store potatoes. They had a child. If the Germans had stayed longer, they would have probably shot us. [But, as they didn’t], these Jews survived." (Witness N°340, interviewed in Novoshcherbinovskaya, in June 17, 2012)
