Vera A., a Belarusian, born in 1921: “About a year after the German’s arrival, in the autumn 1942, the Jews were gathered in the house of Haim, a tailor. There were elderly people, as the younger people had already fled. The house was not guarded. " (Witness N°570, interviewed in Dobromysli on October 26th 2011)
“I saw how 15 Jews were driven to the Adamenka sovkhoze. There was a large ravine where they were shot.” [Deposition of Ivan O. drawn up by Soviet Extraordinary commission; RG-22.002.7021-84/8]
Dobromysli was a small village near Lyozno, which consisted of two streets; one where the Jews lived and one where the Belarussians lived.
Around 110 Jews from Dobromysli were gathered into a house and shot near the cemetery.
