Maria I (N°582 B): “The Jews were shot here. There were a lot them. Some of them lived in our house and my mother wanted to hide one young girl who lived here with her mother. All the Jews were gathered in the school, the little girl had to go too. Once, she came back to pick up some bread because they didn’t have anything to eat at the school. She was maybe 8 years old, the same age as me.”
