Historical note

Vyshneve is a village situated between the cities of Dnipropetrovsk and Krivyi Rih. There was a significant Jewish population before the war. The village was under German occupation between 1941 and 1943.

Holocaust by bullets in figures

Jews from the village and the region were imprisoned in kolkhoze buildings. They were forced to perform various kinds of hard labor, and they especially had to build the section of the DG IV road between Dnipropetrovsk and Krivyi Rih. They were shot in grain pits during different actions.
