Witnesses interviewed: 2. (N°127, 128).Edward d, 127P: “A lot of Germans came here on foot followed by the artillery in order to fight against the Poles. The wife of an officer of Warsaw was almost raped by the Germans but was able to escape to the forest. The Germans came here at the end of 1939 and in the winter of 1940, six of them inhabited her house. They lived in the master bedroom. Then they left for France in 1940. One of the Germans spoke Polish and came to ask my mother for potatoes and milk.”
