Nota histórica

Village situated close to city of Nikopol. Very few Jews were living in this village before the war.

Holocausto por balas en cifras

In 1941, Jews, Gypsies and activists from different locations were killed near an orphanage which also served as a detention facility. The pit was 200m from the orphanage. There were about 1,000 victims over several months. A girl who escaped from the pit, was later killed in a kitchen garden.
