“I couldn’t say a lot about the executions of the Jews in Porietché. I know that of a lot of them perished during the years 1942 and 1943. I didn’t see any of the executions because they were perpetrated at night. One day, I saw a column escorted by a Romanian troop. This column was full with 200 people. They went slowly and with difficulty because there was a lot of snow. I don’t know where the Jews were executed.”
