Witness interview

Witnesses interviewed: 3. (N°204, 214, 215). Lyubov P. (N°214): "Later, the two mass graves were burnt. The ashes were sieved to verify if there was some gold. Nobody was able to come near the scene: the Germans made a diversion (or detour). But I lived near it and I was able to see the stakes and an excavator (mechanical digger) digging."

Soviet archives

RG-22.002M/7021-90. "At the end of July 1943, the Germans arrived by trucks in Mokraya Dubrava. The peasants which were afraid to be slaved in Germany, began to run in all directions. The Germans killed the Jews who tried to escape."
