Witness interview

Nina N. rememebred: "Our family hid two Jewish women, they were called Koponiry. The Jews stayed with us for two weeks, but then, they went on." (Witness N°335, interviewed in Arkhangelskaya, on June 15, 2012).

Soviet archives

"(...) towards the end of November, this family, together with other citizens of Jewish nationality were taken away in trucks, towards the airfield, 2km south-east of the village of Arkhangelskaya. There, they suffered various forms of torture and were later shot by rifle and machine gun."
