Witness interview

Anna P. remembers: "They came to take Jews early in the morning. I saw the column because they passed in front of my house. The Jews were crying because they already knew that they would be shot. They were brought to the lime ditch, which had already been prepared. They were guarded on all sides by the Germans colonists. And even during the night, the place where they were gathered was watched over, so no one could come out." (Witness N°1567, met in Kudryavka, on August 12, 2012)
