Witnesses interviewed: 6. (N°507, 508, 509, 510, 511, 512). Marya K. (N°507): "I saw columns of Jews crossing the village. I saw some Jews dying of exhaustion. Ukrainians dug a pit in order to bury the Jews who starved, died of exposure or disease."
RG-22.002M/7021-54/1242. "In Balanivka, 3,201 persons died after they had been subjected to mistreatment and torture from the Romanian and German criminals. Their family names are still unknown because they were natives of Bessarabia, Beltsy, Chernovtsy."
