Ludmila S. : "The Jews begged their executioners not to shoot them and said that they could eat grass if they wanted, but nevertheless they were shot." (Witness N°986 interviewed in July, 2010)
Very small village, close to the city of Nikopol. The village was occupied from 1941 to 1943.
Close to that village, the Jews of the former agricultural Jewish colonies 3, 4 and 12 were shot, which don’t exist any more today. Jews from colonies 3 and 4 were shot in the grain silo in June 1942. More than 100 Jews of former colony 12 were shot in a ravine.
