Anastasia A. remembers: "The Germans shot the Jews at face in group of fours or fives before throwing them in the well " as of the cattle "." (Witness N°1050, interviewed in December, 2010)
Mykolaivka is a small village, north of the city of Nikopol. The village was under German occupation between 1941 and 1943.
Some tens of Jews coming from different agricultural Jewish colonies were shot during different actions, in a ravine close to the village of Mykolaivka. Then the bodies were thrown into a well of the ravine and covered with earth.
